In 2020 new innovation support instruments will be launched such as the Demonstration Energy Innovation (DEI+) instrument and the new Mission-Oriented Research, Development and Innovation subsidy scheme for offshore renewable energy. Please reserve February 13th 2020, 9.00 – 18.00 hours in your agenda for our annual Matchmaking Day, where we will share information about past and new projects and inform you in detail about the new subsidies.
This week, a letter to Parliament was sent covering the changes and intentions regarding the 2020 energy innovation toolbox. In order to further grow and improve new (combinations of) solutions, cooperation is essential. For this reason, the new MOOI subsidy scheme (Mission-driven Research, Development and Innovation) focuses on early collaboration between knowledge institutes and large and small companies is large-scale consortia.
In line with the climate agreement, the focus is mainly on innovation tracks that lead to the first (commercially) applicable products and services towards 2030. Within this scheme, an amount of € 10.1 million is made available for Offshore Wind Energy. We anticipate that the new tender rules will be published early next year. For more information please refer to the RVO website. (only available in Dutch)
Once again the TKI Wind op Zee together with RVO will organise a Matchmaking Day. During this day all players in the offshore wind sector can meet and get more information on the Topsector Energie instruments in 2020. Also we will present the results of TKI Wind op Zee innovation projects and give an outlook to new R&D projects. The Matchmaking Day will take place in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht on February 13th 2020, 9.00 – 18.00 hours. Registration will open in January as well. In January, more information can be found here.
