Subsidy for SME entrepreneurs

Do you work with other SMEs to develop or renew products, production processes or services? And are you looking for financing through subsidy? Then the MIT subsidy scheme for R&D collaborative projects may help you further.

MIT stands for SME Innovation stimulation Region and Topsectors. It is a popular subsidy scheme to help innovative entrepreneurs get their product on the market.

A R&D collaborative project consists of industrial research and / or experimental development, carried out by a partnership of at least 2 SME entrepreneurs (each for their own account and risk).

The subsidy amounts to 35% of the eligible costs. These are only the costs incurred by the SME entrepreneurs. The subsidy is a minimum of € 50,000 and a maximum of € 200,000, of which a minimum of € 25,000 and a maximum of € 100,000 per participant. One participant may not account for more than 70% of the costs. The duration of a collaborative project is a maximum of 2 years. Nationwide there is € 7.15 million.
