In order to inspire, inform and offer networking opportunities for the new generation, the Young Professional Hub can be found at Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference (OEEC), taking place on the 23rd and 24th of October in RAI Amsterdam. The Hub is a physical place and meeting point on the exhibition floor in Hall 2, specially designed for young professionals from the industry.
Here Young Professionals can meet each other, learn more about new developments in the industry and make their voices heard about what they feel is important in their work environment. With an extensive program for YPs this year, OEEC recognizes the important role that future leaders have in shaping the industry. The Hub is powered by Navingo Career and presented in collaboration with Energie Beheer Nederland (EBN).
Meet Your Peers
The Meet Your Peers sessions take place on the 23rd and 24th of October from 11:30-12:30. A creative meet & greet between YPs (<35 years old) in the offshore energy industry to expand their network and exchange ideas. There are no costs associated with these sessions. Pre-event registration is applicable, on-site registration space is limited.
The Master Classes bring together masters and young talents in the offshore oil, gas and energy industry for an informal exchange of ideas and experiences. The masters are two inspiring young men: Simon Kennedy (COO, eVision) and Joost Lasschuit (Managing Director, Rolloos). The Master Classes are meant for final year students, starters and young professionals (<6 years work experience, <35 years old, min. Bachelor degree). This year the Master Classes focus on the possibilities of digital technology. You can book the Master Classes when you register as visitor.

The Well of Fortune Challenge
The Well of Fortune Challenge uncovers ideas on how to make organizations millennial proof. YPs can submit their ideas in the Well of Fortune on 23 and 24 October. What do you expect from your manager, from your employer, from your part of the industry? Do you have an idea that will help you develop as a person or as a professional? After Offshore Energy the best idea will be chosen and, after consultation with the idea owner, publicly presented. The winner will receive a prize offered by Krauthammer.
Other items in the program for YPs include the yearly Young IRO Event, Young Professionals in the Spotlight at Community Square and the OE Young Engineer Award. Moreover, visitors that register as students receive a reduced rate for the Offshore Energy Conference sessions.
